The Challenge: One Weekend, Three Schools, Thousands of Guests
Graduation day only happens once, and for the students, families, and faculty in Newton County, it had to feel just as important as it is. With three high school ceremonies stacked across a single weekend, Sharp Stadium became the site of a high-stakes production challenge.
The goal was simple: make sure every name was heard, every moment was seen, and every family left feeling like it was their student’s time to shine. But with a football field’s worth of space to cover, rising summer heat, and a brand new turf field that couldn’t be compromised, there was no room for shortcuts.
The Epic Approach: Festival-Style Thinking for a Graduation-Worthy Moment
We approached the weekend like a multi-day festival because that’s what it was. Big moments, big emotion, and a need for high-impact production that didn’t get in the way of the reason we were all there.
We deployed JBL A-Series carts to ensure crystal-clear sound from the first row to the last bleacher. A towering LED screen brought every name and face into full view, giving each graduate their moment. And a wireless video system, carefully designed to protect the turf, kept everything running smoothly without a single cable out of place.
